Secret: I've always been a huge art fan and used to fantasize about being like Vollard (http://www.artic.edu/aic/exhibitions/picasso/) --- someone who could hang out and discover great artists and then help them make it big. Oh well, maybe in another life. Now I spend too much time reading the Journal, and two Saturday articles really hit my love of art. If you share in that love, these are worth a look:
1) Art for Less - as a very minor dabbler in original art, my wife and I have purchased local works of art at fairs for several years. Here are the current secrets patrons use to find "deals" (some good ideas): http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118496967641073476.html.
2) Picasso - I was enthralled by a Picasso (The Bullfighter) when I was young, and have been a big fan ever since --- pure genius. Some insight into one of his seminal works: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118496004953073293.html.
Anyway, a digression from my standard fare, but if you like art some worthwhile articles nonetheless!
